It’s the holidays, and instead of feeling overwhelmed by all of the Things to Do, we’re carving out time to remember and feel grateful for all the fun we had this year supporting good food and the people behind it.🥳 We’re also sharing our favorite gift guides, our latest blog, PR Trends You Should Know for 2025, and launching a brand-new YouTube channel for the natural products industry, Dig Deep, which you won’t want to miss! In the latest episode, we taste-test a bunch of crazy holiday-flavored CPG products with the experts at New Hope Network. 🥧🧑🎄
ROOT News
Big news! We just launched a YouTube Channel, Dig Deep, for the natural products industry, where you’ll find interviews with natural products experts sharing tips, trends and the things they’ve learned along the way; best marketing strategies to get ahead – everything from storytelling, working with media vs working with influencers, affiliate marketing, and activations; a taste of industry events; and CPG taste tests with experts discussing what’s on grocery store shelves (including our latest episode, a holiday CPG taste test with experts at New Hope Network!) 🛒🍽
Check out our first few episodes on Dig Deep, here. Subscribe and dig in!
We also partnered with a fantastic nonprofit, 4those, and were honored to attend their Boulder screening of “147,” a powerful documentary following Stephanie Hauser’s 147-mile run to honor her son’s 147-day fight in the NICU. 🏃♀️💙
Food for Thought
Did you know that over 30,000 new CPG products launch each year, but only 15% survive beyond a few years? The difference-maker? Smart, innovative marketing and PR.
In our November blog post, CPG PR Trends You Should Embrace in 2025, we break down four powerful PR and marketing trends your competitors are using that you need to know:
✨ Food as Medicine and Health Influencers
🎉 Brand Activations
📱 Micro-Moments
🤝 Affiliate Marketing
Speaking of trends, be sure to keep an eye out for the annual ROOT Good Food Trends Predictions for 2025,hich we’ll be publishing next week as a blog post. We’ll also be discussing those trends with experts on Dig Deep, our YouTube channel, so keep an eye on social media for links to those!
