In our August All Team Meeting agenda, there’s a line item to discuss covering our plans for September and October. OCTOBER?? How can we be thinking about October when it was just March a minute ago?? This feeling of life speeding by (especially during those precious summer months,) and the inevitable feelings of exhaustion and depletion – creativity killers – are why it’s a big ROOT value to take time to play and recharge. As I write this, I’m drinking coffee on the porch of a regenerative beef ranch, overlooking cow-dotted fields with the hazy West Elks as the backdrop, and as I focus on this present moment, I’m noticing the chirp of the birds around me, the buzz of a distant plane, the occasional moo of a cow, and the hum and subtle jingle of the gigantic water sprinklers sweeping across the fields – and sure enough, it inspired me to write this to you 🙂
Here’s hoping you’ll make some time to enjoy being alive today 🌞

Food for Thought
We know marketing today often means hours at the computer with only your cat and AI bots for company. While digital strategies like social media campaigns and Google Ads are essential, nothing beats good old-fashioned networking and community building. Building relationships helps you meet people, learn trends, understand customers, and gain a competitive edge.
Check out the podcast linked below, “Building Community to Build Your Business,” where our owner Kuvy Ax and food industry expert Bill Capsalis (pictured here), share their insights on “building your network” and growing your business through marketing partnerships and networking.
Speaking engagements position you/your company spokesperson as an industry authority, increasing your brand’s visibility AND credibility at the same time. In fact, there are many reasons to engage in key industry and cultural events and conferences, including:
• Building Brand Awareness
• Generating Media Coverage
• Networking
• Establishing Thought Leadership
• Standing Out from Competitors
Check out our most recent blog post, Speak Up to Stand Out – the first post in a new series on Thought Leadership – to learn more about why speaking engagements are such an important part of your PR strategy.
