News You Can Use: ROOT’s August Newsletter

In our August All Team Meeting agenda, there’s a line item to discuss covering our plans for September and October. OCTOBER??  How can we be thinking about October when it was just March a minute ago??  This feeling of life speeding by (especially during those precious summer months,) and the inevitable feelings of exhaustion and depletion – creativity killers – are why it’s a big ROOT value to take time to play and recharge.  As I write this, I’m drinking coffee on the porch of a regenerative beef ranch, overlooking cow-dotted fields with the hazy West Elks as the backdrop, and as I focus on this present moment, I’m noticing the chirp of the birds around me, the buzz of a distant plane, the occasional moo of a cow, and the hum and subtle jingle of the gigantic water sprinklers sweeping across the fields – and sure enough, it inspired me to write this to you 🙂    

Here’s hoping you’ll make some time to enjoy being alive today 🌞

🎉 HUGE news for ROOT! We are proud to now be the Agency of Record for the Fermented Food Holdings (FFH) brands! After handling Bubbies (yes, THOSE pickles!) for almost two years, their parent company, FFH, asked us to handle all their brands, adding on beloved brands such as wildbrine, wildvine, and Flanagan Farm, as well as corporate PR for FFH.  Couldn’t be more excited to spread some fermented foods love. 🥒

📣 Kuvy will be leading a webinar, “Give Yourself the Gift of Coverage” – otherwise known as, “How to Get Featured in (Holiday) Gift Guides” – as part of the Colorado Food Works’ online Holiday Ready Bootcamp at 1:30pm MT on August 7.  If you are a brand that does markets, e-commerce or wholesale accounts, you need to have a holiday plan in place now (not October!) and this 3-day Bootcamp tells you everything you need to know! Natural Products Expo East has been “sunsetted”, but the great news is that the creators, New Hope Network, have completely rethought every detail of what it takes to create an event where brands and retailers can really connect in a meaningful way.  Annnnnd – ta da! ✨Newtopia Now ✨ launches in Denver August 25-28! This is “Where conscious products grow.”
