CANDELA Organic

Complete brand development for CANDELA Organic as they launch clean beauty ingredients for the U.S. market

Challenge

CANDELA is the only ethical and socially responsible natural and organic supplier for personal care brands, with a 30+ year history steeped in a deep commitment to biodiversity, regenerative practices and fair trade principles. Although CANDELA held strong partnerships in European and Asian markets, they lacked a presence in the U.S. market.

Results

With 10 weeks until the targeted brand launch date, we jumped in for a full immersion in market research and brand development. Navigating international collaboration and four time zones, the CANDELA Organic brand launched on time and on budget, not only meeting, but exceeding the client’s expectations of the products and the process.

Solution

ROOT supported the launch of CANDELA’s U.S. subsidiary, “CANDELA Organic,” by creating an all-new brand to serve the U.S. personal care market. Starting with competitive and customer research, we helped CANDELA develop their foundational brand strategy and messaging architecture. Leveraging the strength of existing award-winning brand assets, we created a look and feel appropriate for the U.S. market. The ROOT team designed and developed all of the sales and marketing materials for their U.S. launch including the website, candelaorganic.com (shown).

In Their Own Words:

“You’ve put together a fantastic team Kuvy! I’m incredibly impressed by Kristine and her empathy and communications skills, and Emily and the research she’s done for us.”

“I’m so glad we chose the right agency. You guys totally get us. I was worried about how we were going to get all of this together, but now I can see how it’s all possible and I am excited. I’m very impressed with the way Kristine connected with us and understood us.”
