River Bear Meats

Justin Brunson launches River Bear Meats with stunning success thanks, in part, to a robust sales and marketing strategy

Challenge

After crafting quality meat products in-house at his restaurant Old Major for years, Chef Justin Brunson decided to start a meat company. This was his first time stepping into the CPG space, so he needed a strong sales and marketing strategy for launch.

Results

River Bear American Meats successfully launched with a robust sales and marketing strategy, and are now expanding into additional facility space to keep up with demand.

Solution

The ROOT Marketing & PR team created an impact-driven B2B and B2C sales and marketing strategy that focused on selling high quality, sustainable meats to both chefs and consumers. The plan was presented with a road map for how to execute internally post-project, complete with templates for quarterly and annual business plans, distributor recommendations and contact information, updated communications for sales tactics and materials, and new ideas on how to sell premium meats in the Rocky Mountains and beyond.

In Their Own Words:

“Working with Lauren at ROOT was a very comfortable experience. She was very knowledgeable of the restaurant industry, cared about our success, and was fun to work with. Even as a seasoned restaurateur, I learned a lot from her working with my team – I would hire her again 1,000 times over.”
