Big Events This Year

The Winter Fancy Foods Show is just a few weeks away (January 21-23!) Escape to the warmth of Vegas and discover new products, network with the industry’s best and brightest, learn about innovations and trends, and get business done. The Summer Fancy Food Show is June 23-25, in New York City.

If you’re in Colorado, you can’t miss the Naturally Boulder Pitch Slam and Annual Awards on February 29 at the Boulder JCC. Tickets and info here.

Natural Products Expo West is also coming right up – March 12-16. Note that the NEXTY nominations close next week, on January 9.

And there’s only one week left to apply to compete in the Natural Products Expo West Pitch Slam!  Deadline January 11. 🌿 Kuvy was an emcee last year and was blown away by the prizes and opportunities that opened up for the participants. As New Hope says: “Don’t miss this game-changing chance to showcase your innovation and make waves in the industry.” 🌎✨Details here

Natural Products Expo East won’t be returning in 2024, but the New Hope Network has added a new show called Newtopia Now. Carlotta Mast, SVP & Market Leader, Informa Markets’ New Hope Network, says: “Through personalized matchmaking, imaginative content and curated product discovery, Newtopia Now provides a platform for brands, retailers and champions of conscious CPG to cultivate growth for good.”  Newtopia Now will launch August 6-8, 2024, at the newly expanded convention center in Savannah, Georgia.

Extra! Extra! Read All About It

Bubbies does it again! After submitting Bubbies’ products for consideration as a Food & Beverage Editors’ pick of best new products of 2023, their Spicy Bread & Butter Chips were named to the list!

Thinking about heading up to Steamboat Springs for some skiing and world-class food? Colorado Expression Magazine recommends Yampa Valley Kitchen and their new dinner menu in this beautiful article here

Tis the Season for cocktails – and with Dry January in mind – mocktails! We’re loving this Whisky Advocate magazine piece on “Fat Washing Whisky for Cocktails?” that includes some tips from Collin Griffith, beverage director for the Half Eaten Cookie Hospitality Group, which manages restaurants like our client OAK at Fourteenth, Corrida, and others. 

This Dining Out article features two of our clients, Yampa Valley Kitchen and OAK, along with cocktail and mocktail recipes, so you can make them at home.

ICYMI, Beverage Director Collin also showed how to make mocktail recipes on Fox 31/KDVR, which was then picked up by Yahoo! News here.

Prismajic opened mid-December to much acclaim, including this piece by 5280 Magazine and this one by Westword

Restaurant Hospitality News included TWO of our clients, Yampa Valley Kitchen, and OAK, in this “New on the Menu” trends piece. They also included OAK in another trends piece about labneh, where Chef Peter Ho makes his own from scratch.

ROOT Out & About

This  year’s ROOT Holiday Dinner party was at Jovanina’s Broken Italian in Denver, and did triple-duty: 

1. Celebrating the holidays and an awesome 2023…

2. an early birthday dinner for newest teammate Kat Valentine…

3. …and a sad “Farewell, but not goodbye” to our wonderful Marketing & Admin Coordinator Megan Shanian, who is moving to Nashville to pursue her true calling as a singer!  WE LOVE YOU MEGAN and can’t wait to watch you shine on the stage! Thank you for all that you have done for us. <3
