This holiday season, rather than waiting for that magical holiday feeling to come to me, I’m focusing on doing the things I know give me that feeling: staying present, and feeling grateful.
For me, that means spending less time checking off to-do lists, giving myself a pass on not doing everything perfectly, and reminding myself to really notice where I am right now. I’m here in this body. Outside my window, the sun is rising over the snow-covered Flatirons. That feeling rises to the next level when I think about the people I love and support, and who support me. I’m so grateful for my incredibly talented and big-hearted teammates, our awesome, hardworking and passionate clients, and the ability to do good by sharing good news in the good food world.
I wish you all things magical, merry and bright as we celebrate the holidays and head into the next year!

Client News
In honor of World Vegan Day on November 1, we worked with Chef Spike Mendelsohn on a FUN “Good Day DC” Fox5 segment on how to make vegan Crab Cakes Eggs Benedict using our client Mind Blown’s new Crab Cakes! Watch it here.
Westword included OAK at Fourteenth’s Italian Week (which wrapped up last night!) in their “5 Things to Eat This Week That Aren’t Turkey.”
We’re so happy that client Spade & Spoon is bringing local-first meal kits to the Front Range! 5280 Magazine listed them first in their “Best Gifts For Foodies” article here.
ROOT Out & About
We celebrated our new membership at client Kiln Boulder’s coworking space by having our November All Team Meeting there! Felt so good to hug, chat, brainstorm, and work together in person.
Kuvy and Emily went to client OAK at Fourteenth to chat with GM Craig about his wine list, and (of course) treat themselves to some of Chef John Bissell’s incredible food.
We also celebrated Emily’s birthday 🎂 AND ENGAGEMENT 💘! Emily is a rockstar publicist and universally loved by all our clients, and we are so grateful for everything she does. We wish her and Patrick decades of happiness and love (and fun foodie adventures!)
Kuvy went to a wedding at a winery in Napa and tacked on a few days eating and wine tasting in San Francisco and Napa Valley. She thoroughly enjoyed Mister Jiu’s in Chinatown (that quail!) and Zuni Cafe in San Francisco (that burrata and persimmons dish!!); oysters at Hog Island Oyster Co. and a visit to the CIA at COPIA in Napa; Thomas Keller’s Bouchon in Yountville (moules and roast chicken!); and a wine tasting at Silver Oak Cellars on the way to The Matheson in Healdsburg (best short rib… ever??)! Watch the sizzle Reel here. 😁
We also had the best time at our client Naturally Boulder’s Annual Awards event at the Boulder Theater. Congrats to all the natural products heroes who won/were nominated! We’re so grateful to Naturally Boulder for their efforts to make a healthier, more conscious world.
