Dig Deep: ROOT’s October Newsletter

Ahhhh… the seasons are changing, and in Colorado, we’re enjoying cold mornings, hot days, and sudden thunderstorms shaking the leaves from the trees; as well pumpkin lattes, pumpkin pancakes, and apparently, feeding the neighborhood squirrels with our painstakingly-carved jack-o’-lanterns.

It’s also National Seafood Month, National Filipino American History Month, AND National Work and Family Month (yes that is a thing and we’re big fans of it!), and that means that three of our clients (Mind Blown, Fila Manila and Kiln respectively) are celebrating this month. Make sure to follow us on our Instagram and Facebook pages to check out ways to celebrate along with us.

Fila Manila's Jacob Celeon at Expo East

Kuvy just got back from Natural Products Expo East in Philly, where she led a session on “Building Community to Build Your Business” with Bill Capsalis of Naturally Boulder. In honor of that, our September’s blog post offered an in-depth “Ultimate Guide to LinkedIn Sales and Marketing That Will Grow Your Business” that you can read right here.  Be sure to watch for our October blog for more info on “Building Community to Build Your Business.”

Don’t-Miss Events

Speaking of Natural Products Expos, believe it or not, housing is now open for Natural Products Expo West March 7-11, 2023!  Come hang out with 80,000 of your new best friends in the natural products industry.

Here’s an in-depth look at top trends in the natural products industry from this year’s Expo West.

Client News

We’re so proud of our client Mind Blown and their partnership with Atlantic Sea Farms. Read all about it in Nosh and Vegconomist.

Here’s a great article featuring Mind Blown on The 12 Types of Shrimp, Explained in Tasting Table.

Here’s another useful article, this one on how to winterize your garden to have a successful 2023 harvest, with tips by our client Mountain Roots Food Project.
