Aloy Modern Thai

ROOT hosts eye catching grand opening events for Aloy Modern Thai, while raising money for women-centric nonprofits

Challenge

Sisters Bo and Arisa Chanchokpong hired us several months before the opening of Aloy Modern Thai restaurant in Denver, so we could manage their photography, the creation of their website and social media platforms, and all of their public relations, including creating and managing a comprehensive and strategic ongoing non-profit partnerships program. One of the biggest challenges we faced for modern and inventive Aloy Modern Thai was that most Denverites hadn’t considered the idea of Thai food being farm to table, and more than just Pad Thai and noodle soups.

Results

We opened them with a huge media event that resulted in media coverage from almost every major media outlet in metro Denver, and the two soft opening events raised a great deal of money for the featured non-profits.

Solution

We managed every detail of their marketing and two soft opening events, each one to benefit a different female-centric non-profit, and set up an ongoing Community Night program where a portion of the proceeds each month went to a different non-profit that benefited the hungry or women in need. We also opened them with a huge media event and several one-on-one media and key influencer lunches to introduce their creative menu items such as Alligator and Brie Tempura with Colorado honey.

In Our Own Words:

We especially loved working with Aloy Modern, not just for the challenge presented by helping Coloradans reframe how they think about Thai food, but also because we were able to help them with every aspect of their marketing, from website to social media, to PR, to partnerships, to events.
